
Children Knitting in a Waldorf Classroom
Yesterday, my brother sent me a link to his local paper in Southern California wherein I discovered a lovely article that I thought you’d like to read, too. It talks about the role of knitting and crochet in Waldorf schools, and goes on to describe why our favorite activity is so important to the development of cognitive capacities and focussed attention: The skill of the hands becomes the skill of the mind.
