Aran Alpaca has been discontinued by the mill and Fleece Artist has had to conclude that finding a new mill for this yarn just isn’t in the cards (this year, at least). So, we bid a sad farewell to a wonderful Aran weight yarn, and offer what we have left at a price as lovely as it is, here.
And, to make things a bit more fun, we’ve also put the three Aran Alpaca kits that we have on clearance, too, at equally lovely prices:
Now that we have received a genteel sufficiency of 125g BFL Aran skeins, we bid adieu to our old friends, the 250g skeins. While they last, you can enrich your stash with what we consider to be the finest 100% wool on the market at a price to bring a smile even before your BFL arrives at your door. Find the colors you want here.
We have a generous amount of Baby Alpaca in the old 250g skeins still available and need to send them off to new homes so that we can have enough room for the new 125g put-ups. As with Scotia Silk, these are priced to create that room fast – and, as with Scotia Silk, we expect our limited supply won’t last very long. See them here.
We must be really ready for winter to be over – we’ve started spring cleaning already! In our travels through the yarn room, we found a kit and a yarn poised for our Clearance page:
We have two Dreadlocks Poncho kits remaining at an enticing price. If you like silky-soft bouclé with a drape-y bounce to it, you’ll find it at a price to love here.
And then, we’re bidding a reluctant adieu to Somoko which has been replaced with Nyoni. You’ll find this superlative sock yarn priced to create more space in our yarn room quickly, here. There are lots and lots of skeins to choose from right now, so do have fun shopping!
With the arrival of the new 125g put-ups (see below), we need more space. We have placed our remaining 250g skeins of Scotia Silk on Clearance, with a price that is designed to give us that space fast! You can see them, while they last, here.
Now that we’ve caught our breath (sort of, anyway), we are continuing with our preparations for The Big Move. Part of that is to send on to other homes some of our discontinued yarns – which means you can open your doors to some beautiful bargains.
The following yarns and one more kit are now available in our Clearance section:
We just made a discovery. We had occasion to take a look at the Mo 22 Clearance page and discovered to our surprise and chagrin that only 3 of the 10 colors we actual have available were displaying. Yikes! Hoist on a computer glitch.
The good news is that all the colors are now back on the page, as they should have always been. Just in time for the holidays and winter knitting, too. The Mo 22 skeins are solid color Mo, the colors hand picked by Kathryn Thomas. Though now out of production, this is the same ultra-soft mohair as the Mo handpaints, at a price that is happy news indeed. See a much fuller palette here.
