Now that is a great question! Please allow us to shed some light on that… Addi’s production of Click parts has been ramped up considerably. In fact, the factory is keeping its lights on for 16 hours per day and 6 days per week. The parts are there. However, the lack of full kits is due to a faulty packaging issue. Once the packaging issue is solved, they will begin to ship full kits once again. At this point in time, we anticipate the next delivery of full kits around July 22nd. Should that change, we will update the information on the addi Clicks page.
addi Click Interchangeable Needles
We have been wondering where the Clicks were as we haven’t received a shipment since early April. I called Skacel to ask. What I learned is that addi, though continuing with Click production, has been unable to ship any Clicks because there has been a delay from the company that makes their packaging (the Click cases). They anticipate shipping in late June, so we expect to receive more Clicks in either late June or early July. The good news, such as it is, is that production is continuing and the late June shipment will be the equivalent of all shipments that would have occurred in the intervening time. We expect this to put us back on track with Click shipments, though it is unclear whether orders placed in June will ship from that allotment. Thanks for your patience – we truly wish we had better news to share.
addi Natura Bamboo Double Points

addi Click Interchangeable Needles
As you know, the first small shipment of Click sets were shipped last Friday and are already in those customer’s hands. Today, we received this note that confirmed what we already knew and made us smile:

addi Click Interchangeable Needles
Our first shipment of addi Click Interchangeable Needles arrived late yesterday (Wednesday) and will ship out tomorrow (Friday) to those of you who ordered earliest. Skacel has inspected and tested each and every needle in each and every set. Bob and I spent the morning happily doing the same – in our house, it’s Thanksgiving Clicks before Thanksgiving Turkey! I can tell you that they are terrific and worth the wait!
The rest of the Click orders will ship later. We expect the remaining sets to arrive in December, and we hope to be able to ship all preorders in time for the holidays. We will keep you posted as we learn more.
In the meantime, we are tickled to find that we love the Clicks as much as we had expected we would - just one more thing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day here in the USA.
Now, it really is time for some of that turkey!

We have just received word that addi has run into a production delay with their forthcoming Click sets. At the moment, the expectation is that the first shipments will deliver “in time for the Holidays,” but no firm date has been announced. We will keep all of you informed here as more information becomes available.

Bob and I happened to be visiting Skacel, addi’s home in the USA, when the prototype arrived, so we were treated to a first hand look at the developing addi Click set. We were blown away by the join – it’s simply a brilliant solution, which is hardly surprising given that it comes from addi.
Addi sought its solution not in the world of industry, but rather among the offerings of fine jewelry. Instead of using a screw set or a key or any of the other join types we’ve seen, addi Clicks use a state-of-the-art jeweler’s clasp that provides an ultra-smooth, rock-solid, secure join with a simple push-and-twist.
