We are delighted to introduce Perl Grey’s Muffet kit.  Muffet is a reversible mohair tunic – choose between front or back belt or turn it inside out for a cozy muff and delight in wearing it every which way you like. Muffet is another wonderful Perl Grey innovation that invites us to cast on as soon as possible so that we can wear her beautiful art as soon as possible.

Knit side-to-side, Muffet also features a fascinating belt/muff which make this tunic one of the most versatile peices of clothing you’re likely to own. Add to that the gossomer weight of Fleece Artist’s ultra-soft Mo, one of the few mohair blends we’ve ever experienced that is so high quality and so soft that even those who can’t wear other mohairs wear Mo in blissful comfort. If I were forced to choose a single yarn to take to that fabled desert island where it would be all I could knit for the rest of my days (under the single palm tree that is always on such islands), it would be BFL Aran (my desert isle has a temperate climate).  This is one of those yarns that I would frankly like to have a room full of, so that I could open the door and jump into it like I used to do with raked leaves as a child.  It is soft, strong, wonderful to have running through your fingers, even better to wear out into the cold that it will keep at arms length from you, because it is also very, very warm.
